This dataset contains monthly historical snowpack data for all SNOTEL and SNOW network stations across New Mexico, compiled by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), a division of the USDA. It spans all recorded water years from the beginning of monitoring to the present.
The data was retrieved and aggregated by the New Mexico Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources (NMBGMR) from https://www.wcc.nrcs.usda.gov/snow/
on February 19, 2020. It provides valuable insight into long-term snowpack trends relevant to water availability, forecasting, and climate analysis.
