This dataset contains groundwater level measurements and well construction details for landfill monitoring wells maintained by the City of Albuquerque (CABQ). Collected through periodic sampling and hydrologic monitoring, the data supports tracking of water table elevations and evaluation of both short- and long-term changes in aquifer conditions.
The monitoring program focuses on identifying spatial and temporal trends in groundwater quality and detecting potential contamination near landfill sites. Approximately 170 samples are collected annually across multiple wells. The data is used to support water resource management, contamination assessments, and aquifer protection initiatives in collaboration with local, state, and federal agencies.
